And so, we team up with Jess Munn to get the inside scoop into nail art fashion – the latest nail craze!
Question #1:
What a history and what a product! What is the leading nail treatment technique today?
Nail Art is a creative way to paint, decorate and enhance nails. Artwork can be as simple or complicated as you like. Something as simple as placing a few dots or lines onto the nail will enhance the overall look and experience of the manicure and add a little extra vibe to your overall style!
Question #2:
We are always looking forward to the next collection by Gelish. What has been your favourite trend to date and why?
We love a foil effect when it comes to nail art design. It is a versatile technique and super easy to apply. Using foil we created two looks adding creativity in a few seconds.
Question #3:
Let’s talk colour. What are your go-to gel colours for 2022?
Our go-to gel colours are all the basics, Arctic Freeze (White), Black Shadow (Black), Fame Game (Sparkles)
Our advice is to start with your primary colours and most popular colours.
We have found 2022 is the year for Blues ( Water Baby) and bright colours, and of course the nudes are sticking around. We have so many new colours in the 2022 Gelish collections.
Question #4:
The catwalk is influential in defining what sets seasonal trends. Nail Art has fast become the leading nail trend and the options are endless! As a nail technician yourself, how would you suggest someone can get started on the nail art trend if they haven’t already?
Our advice is start simple and have a play with colour, experiment with your own nails and most importantly have fun with it.
