Bronsun tips & tricks!
Choosing the right dye for your client:
“Choosing the right Bronsun dye to suit your client is easy. Simply by assessing your clients’ roots to the ends as well the colour of their eyebrows.
Don’t forget to consult your client before proceeding with your chosen colour. Why? You may have a blonde-haired client who likes to keep them light or she may like them to be darker or a red head that would prefer a neutral brown rather than a vibrant red chestnut colour.”
Determine your clients skin type!
“If your client has dry skin the Bronsun colour will absorb quicker, so you need to keep in mind the chosen shade will develop quicker and darker. Be sure to act fast.”
“If your client has naturally oily skin, you may find the Bronsun colour takes longer to develop, and the dye won’t last as long on the skin generally.
My tip: Advise your client of this prior to applying the dye so they are aware it is not your amazing skill set that is the cause! Regardless, to help ensure an effective and lasting treatment, ensure you have cleansed/degreased your clients brow area well before the brow treatment.”
Removing the Bronsun dye.
“If your client has dry skin the Bronsun colour will absorb quicker, so you need to keep in mind the chosen shade will develop
“Depending on the look your client wants, you can leave the dye on from anywhere between 8-20mins. If your clients want a softer stain then remove the dye around 8-10 mins & if they want a bold tattoo effect, you can leave on for 15-20 mins.”
“Remove the dye from the front of the brow earlier to create a front faded effect – if you feel the brow is too dark you can apply Bronsun dye remover and gently rub the front of the brow with a cotton bud, doing so on an angle. Dye remover also helps you clean around the brow keeping your lines crisp. “
“Use a damp cotton pad to remove the dye once the processing time is over. Go over a second time if there is still residue on the brow (this will help remove any bits of the dye that look spotty).”
“I love Bronsun, and if you are looking to work with Bronsun, I strongly recommend you invest into the Bronsun Bible which is available at Barneys by the way 😉”.
