Q1: How should I price lash lamination services?
Pricing a lash lamination service involves considering several key factors to ensure you cover costs, provide value to your clients, and remain competitive. Start by analysing costs, including the price of products and supplies, the depreciation and maintenance of tools and equipment, and any training or certification expenses. You also want to account for overhead costs such as rent, utilities, insurance, and marketing, as well as the cost of your own or your staff’s labour based on the time it takes to perform the service.
Conducting market research to understand the prices charged by competitors and assess the demand for lash lamination in your area is highly advisable however, the key thing to remember is not to base your prices on the prices of others. This is your business, and we would encourage you to hit the market at the position you wish to sit in terms of client attraction. If you are prepared to offer the most finely-tuned, top quality, 360 service and client experience, then your prices can be on the higher end of the scale if you wanted them to be; but the higher the prices, the higher the expectations, so really consider what you want your customer experience to look like and who your ideal customer would be before setting your price structure.
Finally, when you are considering your target audience, think about what they are willing to pay for the service and set a price that balances affordability and profitability, whilst never undervaluing yourself.
Q2: How to fix over-laminated lashes?
Over laminated or over processed? Over laminated could be classed as over curled. In this case then you can treat the lash in the same sitting by following the steps below:
- Prep the lashes as you would for a lift
- Dispense lotion into your Elleepallette
- Using a wonder wand, gently brush the through the lashes with the lotion holding the ends down slightly (in an effort to straighten them out) – Carry out this process for no longer than 5 minutes
- Once you have relaxed them enough to achieve the desired results, remove the lotion and repeat with step 2 for no longer than 3 minutes in total
- Once complete – apply your Elleeplex Advanced Aftercare or Elleeplex Hyaluronic Boost Serum
Over processed lashes however are different, although extremely hard to do with Elleeplex Profusion, it is still possible as we are performing a chemical treatment. Treating over-processed lashes involves several important steps to restore their health and appearance. First, avoid any further chemical treatments or heat styling to prevent additional damage. Hydrating and moisturising the lashes is our key focus here so using Elleeplex ReGen is going to be beneficial to help stimulate that natural keratin products to add strength and to help thoroughly condition the lashes with its essential fatty acids and advanced bond building technology. There will need to be a period of time before putting the lashes through a chemical treatment again so highly advise the client to use the Elleeplex Advanced Aftercare or Elleeplex Hyaluronic Boost Serum morning and night, offer further ReGen treatments if required but be patient and consistent with the home and in salon care routine, as lashes have a natural growth cycle and will take time to recover fully.
Q3: How do I advise clients on aftercare for lash lamination?
The world of aftercare for lash lamination can be a confusing and conflicting one to say the least, but we are going to bust some myths and simplify it for you!
Let’s start with the biggest one…
- Do I have to change the way I sleep if I sleep with an eye mask?
- It is advisable to avoid sleeping on your face or wearing an eye mask for 48 hours. The lashes will take between 24 – 48 hours to return to their natural pH level and during this time, the direction of them could possibly be impacted by too much, consistent pressure placed on them.

- Is there anything I need to avoid?
- Yes, oil based makeup removers – these products may diminish the tint’s vibrancy or alter the set direction of the lash lift marginally (Instead, opt for Elleebana Makeup Remover). You also need to avoid extreme temperatures i.e hot steam from showers, saunas, dishwashers (yes, a night off unloading and loading that diswasher!) or hot kitchens, this is for the period of time whilst the pH balances itself over the 48-window following the treatment.
Our advice would be to give this information to your client in person and give it to them to take home for reference, whether that be in print form or in the form of an email!
Q4: How to market lash lamination services on social media?
Marketing your lash business on Instagram involves leveraging visually appealing content, engaging with your audience, and utilising strategic promotions. It is SUCH a useful tool if approached with the correct mindset.
Remember IT IS BUSINESS, this is the reference point for your customers and a portfolio of your work so make it interesting, make it appealing but also make it educational and informative. It takes time so consider within your week when you will set aside time to work on this element of business – working on your business is just as vital as working in it!
You want to tackle social media by showcasing high-quality before-and-after photos and videos of your lash lift results to highlight your expertise to retain existing and attract potential clients. Use Instagram Stories and Reels to share behind-the-scenes glimpses of your process whilst giving the viewer an insight to who YOU and your team are. Make it personal, let the viewer believe they already have a connection with you, share client testimonials, and educational content about lash care.
Engage with your audience:
Engage with your audience by responding to comments, this is a huge area that businesses can miss out on and take advantage of people engaging with them… if someone spoke to you in person, you wouldn’t ignore them so consider this with the comments as well! Host Q&A sessions and run interactive polls or quizzes. Create short, to the point videos offering solutions to client paint points!
Collaborate with others:
Collaborate with other industry professionals to reach a broader audience and consider offering exclusive Instagram promotions or discounts to incentivise bookings. Work alongside other artists or like-minded business owners within the same field to build a community around you. Consistently use relevant hashtags and geotags to increase your visibility and attract local clients, ensuring your content reaches the right audience.
Whatever approach you choose to take with social media – keep it relevant, keep it authentic, and worry less about what everyone else is doing. Use Instagram for inspiration but authenticity is what will attract people to YOU. Let people into the person behind the business whilst maintaining professionalism. And, whatever you share, however you share it, make sure it aligns with you, your business and your principles.

Are there any other questions and answers you receive often, that you feel would be great to share with our readers?
We sure do! Are you ready? Here we go…
Q5: Can I re-lift in the same sitting if the clients’ lashes haven’t lifted as well as I expected?
- Yes. With ProFusion you can absolutely. If there isn’t enough lift but a bit, then ideally you can lift up to 5 minutes with lotion 1 and 2-2.5 with lotion 2. If there is no lift at all then halving the initial time should be perfectly ok, but perform the flex and set checks in order to maintain control over the process
Q6: Do you have resources available to look at for tips and tricks?
- YES! Our YouTube Chanel is a gold mine of information along with our Blog located on the website and, of course, our Instagram and TikTok are a great space for useful information for you! On top of all this you can also check out Ellee TV which is full of educational videos to assist you along the way.
